Thanks for the jade pendant you sent last week—I saw how much work you had put in it—will you kindly send me a copy of this week’s issue? – also will you send a copy to Gen Garfield Mentor in Ohio? He has writhed so under my probing it is had-fair [ ] that he should see that I can sum up his best. So the Wadleigh letter you never sent back and I should not have bothered you with it.
